AN EXHIBITION BY BETTINA SAMSON WITH LUCIEN PETIT AND HERVÉ ROUSSEAU

FAJRO

The second phase of La Borne resident artists bringing together a sculptor and a ceramist is the exhibition called Fajro, which means “Fire” in Esperanto. It takes a retrospective look at the experiments that artist Bettina Samson has chosen to develop with ceramists Lucien Petit and Hervé Rousseau. The artists’ desire was to spotlight the shared practice of working with clay and to explore the frontiers between ceramics, sculpture and utilitarian shapes. Specific wood-fired pieces have been produced from each collaboration.

Private View Saturday 6 February from 6.30pm to 9pm.
